Lucian smiles

Lucian:"Such hostility. How is daddy, and that little piece of arm candy he's got dragging him around?"

Amber: What does it matter to you?

Lucian:"I can't be...concerned about the daughter of an old friend?"

Amber: Not this one. Why...are...you...here?

Lucian:"You think to highly of yourself; I didn't mean you. Although considering what she is getting your poor father into...Oh well..."

Amber: Cynthia? What does Cynthia have to do with anything?

Lucian:"Cynthia is a cheat and a liar. I apologize for the bold words but I can't really water them down too much. I'm sure she made sure to sound like a victim in her 'past' relationship right?"

Amber: She....didn't talk about it.

Lucian:"No? Not surprising. I'm sure she never told your father about what she was doing on her so called travels either."

Amber: ....What are you talking about?

Lucian produces a series of photos, taken tabloid style. Each one shows a woman who if she isn't Cynthia is her doppelganger. In each picture she is with a different man. In some she is laughing over dinner, in others she is in a romantic embrace

Lucian:"Todd Schewn, Daniel Boothe, Matthew Pendergast...and several others. All of them very...very...well off. And I'm very aware that money has never been an issue for the Duffy family. Has it?... It didn't feel convenient that this woman came out of nowhere and had exactly what your father needed?"

Amber: My dad's life is his own. You want to piss him off with some cropped pics....find him and do it to his face. I have a business to run.

Lucian puts the photos away

Lucian:"Very well. However, know that your daddy has fallen in with a dangerous crowd."

he downs his drink, looking at the glass afterwards

"Not bad...my complements...

Amber: ....Yeah, right....sure.

Lucian steps out of Duffys and pulls out his phone

Lucian:"...Sexton, pick up."

Voice: Hardcastle....Mr. Noire?

Lucian:"I just met with the daughter of the man who is helping your property escape. It seems my interest in your case has just gone up considerably."

Sexton: Well, that's delightful to hear, Skull Master. I understand that Lilith is on a personal mission as well?

Lucian:"Yes. And it seems to me that both missions are now closely related. I need you to look up Frank Duffy and Colin O'Ryan. Find out who they know in common and get back to me."

Sexton: Colin O'Ryan....Frank Duffy. Will do.

Lucian:"We'll get back what is yours Sexton. Do this...and the benefits you will receive will blow your mind."

Sexton: Of course. A skull above all else.

Lucian:"And Sexton, do not let me down again."
