Show Schedule and Monthly PPV List....
The International Wrestling Alliance usually works two to three shows per week. When they arrive in a city, they ususally rent two venues. One smaller, lesser know place like a high school gym or college fieldhouse and then the large sports complex of that city (United Center, Key Arena, etc...).
The first show of the week, usually on Tuesday is a house show at the smaller arena. Only one or two Main Event talent is there, but that's because this is the Upper Midcarders, Midcarders, and Lower Midcarders time to shine in front of the public. It lets them work on thier promoing, segment and in ring work in a live setting, but without the pressure of the truly big stage.
The second show of the week, usually on Thursday is the IWA's internet show called "Future Stars". This is a 'reality' based show in which rookies and low carders actually get to work with Main Eventers and road agents and former talent on their technique, in ring character and nuances that will help them in the future. This is a way for fans to 'get in on the ground floor' of new and upcoming talent as well as a way for the new talent to work in front of cameras with a limited audiance.
The final show of the week, usually on a Saturday, is "Saturday Night Shockwave". This is in the larger sports complex. It is a two hour live show treated in the same way as 'Monday Night Raw'.
The only difference in the weekly schedule is the week of a Pay-Per-View. During that week, "Future Stars" does not shoot on Thursday. Instead that would be the live shooting of "Shockwave" for the week. The talent then gets the next two days off and then the Pay-Per-View is on Sunday.
