An exhausted Ashley O'Ryan sits in the passenger seat giving Naomi instructions to get to his place. He hasn't been there in forever it feels like.

O'Ryan:"Alroit...Madrona Crescent...6475...roit 'ere..."

Naomi: Wow...Ashley...this house is beautiful! I'm...I'm impressed...

Ashley:"It's private..."

he shrugs

"It's 'ome. To be 'onest...Yer the first person to be in it besides meself in over a year."

Naomi parks the car in the garage...

Naomi: Well...I'm honored. Would you...care to inivte me up, Ashley

She smiles...

Ashley:"You don't want the full tour first?"
he smirks

Naomi: That would be nice...but...I was thinking maybe...a couple glasses of Pellegrino, a warm fire...and...well....you and me...

Ashley:"Hmm well...I can see a distinct upside to yer plan"

he smirks

Naomi: I thought you could...

...though...I'll have to share those cookies I made for you earlier...

Ashley:"Mmmmmm Naomi's cookie..."

he glances over at her

Ashley:"...Wot?"

She playfully bonks him on the head....

Naomi: You are such a guy.....

Ashley:"Well, if I wasn't I get the feeling this noit would end up a lot different..."

he grins and grabs her bags

The two walk inside and Naomi is struck again. It's sparsly decorated...but elegant in it's own way...

Naomi: Wow...it's charming...and what a great view...

Ashley:"Aye, always enjoyed the seeing the ocean...Why don't you check out the deck, I'll get the rest of the stuff from the car"

Naomi: Alright...

About fifteen minutes later, Ashley finishes bringing up the bags and can't help but notice Naomi on the deck, her coat off. She is leaning over the railing, admiring the waves coming in on the shore. The moonlight seems to hit her in just such a way....

Ashley grabs two glasses and a bottle San Pellegrino and goes out to join her

Ashley:"Well...seems I've found a view more beautiful then the ocean..."

She looks over and accepts the glass...

Naomi: Oh, go on. Seriously, though...this is a great view. If I lived here, I'd never leave the deck...

Ashley:"Well it does get cold outside this time o'year...'owever I did install 'eaters out 'ere..so we could stay if you want.

Naomi opens the bottle and pours the water. She looks back over the ocean again...

Naomi: So...what shall we drink to?

Ashley:"Simple, 'ow about to each other?"

Naomi: I didn't think I was that important....but...I guess. Here's to us...

Ashley takes a sip, then puts his glass down, looking into her eyes

Ashley:"You still don't see wot you've done fer me, do you?"

Naomi stares back into Ashley's eyes....

Naomi: I thought I just was a shoulder to cry on...

he moves closer, running a hand through her hair

Ashley:"You're more. When I look in your eyes I know that you believe in me...that I 'ave a chance fer a better future."

Naomi: R....really?

She blushes at his touch...

Naomi: ....that um...feels nice.
