IWA Pay Per View: Legends Never Die 2011.... Empty IWA Pay Per View: Legends Never Die 2011....

Post  Cryonix Mon Feb 21, 2011 6:15 am

Voice Over: …Last night the International Wrestling Alliance showed the world what they could do on the big stage when they took over Pay Per View with “Legends Never Die”…

…and the birth of legends was the order of the day…

“He hit it! He hit it! Cruel Brittania! A tribute to his father, Ewan! Shane goes for the count! 1…2…3!”

~The crowd goes wild as Alex and Shane hold up the World Tag Team Championship belts…~

Announcer: Here are your winners and NEW IWA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS! ALEX EDWARDS AND SHANE SPENCER!

Ryan Madsen (Play by Play): 5 long years these two toiled in the IWA’s future stars program, choosing to say behind every time they got a chance to work more as cohesively as a team…and now here they are, defeating Transylvania 6500 to win their first World Tag Team Championships. Shawn, I know this is a big moment for you as well.

Shawn Cortez (Color): Yeah, Alex is like a son to me as well. He came up and still teaches in the Icebox in Chicago…and well, this is a big moment for him and Shane.

~Shane and Alex make their way into the crowd in the United Center in Chicago, celebrating their victory with the people that got them there. On the way out of the arena…Alex comes face to face with his father Ewan and his mother Jillian. They acknowledge each other and Ewan and Alex embrace, garnering more cheers from the crowd, a standing ovation from Shawn Cortez…

….and a somewhat disgusted look…from Shane Spencer. The camera fades back to black and to the voice over…~

Voice Over: As well as the rise of the Saints….one in particular who waived the banner for all those…that would seek salvation…

Madsen: So it’s finally come down to the final two in the tournament, Shawn. Colin O’Ryan and Julian Night. The winner will become the new IWA World Heavyweight Champion.

Shawn: Colin is giving up at least 50 to 65 pounds to the Monster from Cold Creek….

~The action is fast and furious, but both competitors are tired having survived four other men to get to this point. Night goes for a massive lariat, but Colin ducks under and…~

Shawn: Oh my God!

Madsen: What a superkick from Colin! How is Julian Night still standing after that?

Shawn: Standing? How is he still awake?

~The superkick echoed into the rafters, knocking Julian’s head back…but he simply tilts his head forward and smiles evilly at Colin who can’t believe he’s still up either!~

Madsen: This doesn’t look good for the Bastard Son!

~Images of Julian using his power game now flood the screen. Colin shows resolve in kicking out after 6 powerful, impactful moves…but now lays on the ground….motionless. The rest of the Saints come onto the entrance stage~

Shawn: Look at the support shown here…this is…pretty damn cool.

Madsen: It may be too late for Colin though. Julian goes for the cover…1…2…

Shawn: Wait! Roll through!

Madsen: HE HIT THE ACE OF SPADES OUT OF NOWHERE!

Shawn: Come on kid!

~The crowd and the Saints count 1…2…3!~

Shawn: Well, I’ll be damned…Irish Jr. did it.

Announcer: Here is your winner and NEW….IWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION! COLIN O’RYAN!

~Colin sits up in disbelief. He is handed the World title that previously belonged to Julian Night. The Saints rush down to the ring and Alexis and Colin embrace before the rest of the Saints pick Colin up on their shoulders. The screen goes to black again…~

Voice Over: But…for every certainty…there was also controversy…

~….5…6…7…8…9…10! Jimi Thorne is on fire as Eric Rygar stagers out of the corner and into…~

Madsen: Are you kidding me?!?!?

Shawn: HA! FLIP FLOP AND FLY! It looks like the Saints will have their first gold of the evening!

Madsen: Rygar is down, and Thorne goes for the cover…one…

~All of a sudden the lights go out…and this weird song comes over the P.A. system in the United Center…

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zgOBw5dMrn0

~…and coming up from underneath the ring is a man clad in a white sleeveless hoodie, white pants and a blank white mask…and he stares face to face with Jimi. The ref is out…and the man slides the mask to the side…just enough for Jimi to see his face….~

Man in the White Mask: The past will always come to bite your family in the ass….this is now your…electric funeral.

~Without warning, the man in the white mask shoots his hand out and Jimi is shocked to near unconsciousness with a tazer gun. He then lifts Jimi up and yells to the sky, “This is for you…my father” and hits….

Shawn: Christ. Th…That’s the Light of Death.

Madsen: W…What Baphomet’s finishing move?

~The White Mask slides Eric Rygar over the top of Jimi and wakes the ref who counts the pinfall…~

Madsen: Not like this!

Announcer: HERE IS YOUR WINNER…AND FIRST EVER TRANSATLANTIC CHAMPION! “CANADIAN DRAGON” ERIC RYGAR!

~The White Mask then stands over Jimi as Eric clutches the new TransAtlantic Championship. He whispers something to Jimi that only he, in his state, can barley make out…and then with his index finger makes a “X” on Jimi’s forehead. With that…the lights go out and when they come back on…the White Mask has vanished. The camera fades to black one last time…~

Voice Over: …and for every uplifting victory…there was crushing defeat…

Madsen: Is there any doubt that these two women deserve to be fighting for the Women’s World Championship?

Shawn: Not at all…we are down to Alyssa Forte and Alexis O’Ryan who just eliminated Aoi Yamazaki with a beautiful jump spinning fan kick for the three count.

~The two women put on a clinic of strikes, counter holds and chain maneuvers. It’s evident that these two women want this…bad. But then…~

Shawn: What is Aoi doing back out here? She’s jawing at Alexis!

Madsen: O’Ryan better stay focused if she wants to win this match and take the title off of the defending champ, Alyssa Forte!

~The jawing continues, but Alexis is aware of her surroundings. Alyssa comes with a lariat, but Alexis cartwheels out of the way and she hits Aoi! Alexis hits the “Heartbreaker”!...~

Shawn: Damn! That’s GOT to be it!

Madsen: One, two…Aoi pulled Alexis off the cover!

~Aoi is admonished by the ref and then ordered to leave the ringside area. As the ref goes to check on Alyssa and Alexis is waving ‘goodbye’ at Aoi…~

Madsen: Aoi….SHE JUST SPRAYED A CAN OF PEPPER SPRAY INTO ALEXI’S FACE!

Shawn: REF! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?

~Alexis falls, clutching her eyes…and Alyssa goes for the weak cover….1….2…..3!~

Announcer: HERE IS YOUR WINNER AND STILL THE IWA WOMEN’S WORLD CHAMPION……ALYSSA FORTE!

~Alex Edwards comes rushing down the entrance ramp to check on Alexis, followed closely by Shane…but on the way down Shane and Aoi share a glace and a wink, and Shane mouths the words, “You did your job…now, I’ll do mine…” The two smile at each other and Shane continues down the ramp feigning concern as the camera fades out to black again…~

Voice Over: Legends truly never die…but the question is…how will their quality of life improve…or worsen on Shockwave? Tune in to find out….
