Oxford University Part 1...

Jessica is blushing madly.

Jessica: Hey... you looked really nice out there.

Jayden: Well...thank you. Not too many people outside of the family appreciate the art. Look, let me get showered up...and um...how about I take you for a cup of coffee?

Jessica smiles.

Jessica: I'd like that.

Jayden: Good. I won't be a minute...

He walks into the locker room and showers up as quickly as possible. 'Never want to keep a girl waiting', he repeats the advice of his Uncle Ewan from years ago. He puts on his jeans and his shoes and walks out of the locker room still buttoning up his white shirt. His hair is long now, little past shoulder length....

Jayden: Heya....all set?

Jessica puts her book into her backpack.

Jessica: I'm ready.

Jayden offers his arm again...

Jayden: Excellent. There's this incredible organic coffee shop just a couple miles or so down the road from here. We can take my car.

Jessica takes the offered arm.

Jessica: Incredible? I suppose you will have to show me.

The two of them walk arm and arm to the parking lot where Jayden deactivates the alarm on a beautiful white 2011 Jaguar XKR-Speedside...



Jayden opens the passenger side door for Jessica...

Jayden: We should be there shortly....

Jessica giggles.

Jessica: The knight and his while stallion....

Jayden smiles...

Jayden: I never really thought of it that way....I don't know if I'm a knight or anything. Though...

He starts the car and they drive off towards the coffee shop...

Jessica looks over at Jayden.

Jessica: Though?

Jayden: You'd think this is some kind of line...but it isn't. My ancestor....no kidding....was Sir Nicholas Edwards of His Majesty's Royal Guard.

Jessica's eyes light up.

Jessica: Really?

Jayden: Yeah. The house I stay at was a gift to him from the king. It's crazy, I know...but that's why my family are a bunch of warriors...

Jessica leans back in the seat, smiling.

Jessica: Amazing....

Jayden: It's....alright, I guess....

They pull up to this quaint little coffee house called the 'Roast' and the two of them enter...

Jayden: What would you like? It's on me.

Jessica: Just tea and milk for me.

Jayden: Hot chocolate for me please.

The barista takes the orders and Jayden pays in cash. The two take a table in the corner. They are actually having a great conversation when a couple of guys walk into the shop. They take the table right across from Jayden and Jessica. They seem to mutter to each other when and finally one of them stands and walks over to their table...

Guy: Oi sweetie. Why don't you ditch the nerd and come have a drink with us, eh?

Jessica rolls her eyes.

Jessica: Oh sod off you wanker.

She leans in to Jayden and giggles.

Jessica: They only understand if you talk to them in their own language.

Guy: Prissy lil' bitch ain't she boys?

His friends laugh in agreement...

Guy: Lookit...I said you come with me, girly!

The guy moves to put his hand on Jessica, when Jayden in a flash, grabs the guys's hand....tightly...

Jayden: Gentlemen, you're obviously drunk and really don't know what you're doing...or what the concequences of what your doing will be. Now, the lady and I were having a conversation...and you disturbed us. In your current state, I'll chalk it up to you not knowing any better....so I will be the bigger man and suggest you leave...NOW.

Guy: Look at this lil pissant. I'm going to give you to the count of three to let go of me hand...one..

Jayden stands quickly and gets right in his face...

Jayden: ...two...

The man tries to move...but Jayden moves for him. In one instant, all four men take on Jayden...in the next they are all down and the lead guy is locked in a submission hold. Jayden drags him over to Jessica...

Jayden: Now....apologize to the lady who's tea time you disturbed and the other patrons of this establishment....now.

Guy: Right....right...I'm sorry! Please let me go...

Jayden: Remember today's lesson...concequences. Now leave...and I best not see you here again.
