Micah's Seattle Condominium

Amanda: I'm glad we got that straightened out.

She resumes unpacking, letting Micah get an occasional peek as she bends down to pick up boxes.

From the bedroom can be heard pitch-perfect female singing.

"Ziggy played guitar, jamming good with weird and gilly
And the spiders from mars. he played it left hand

Became the special man, then we were ziggy's band"

Micah starts to play softer...

Micah: So when did you plan on telling me you could sing?

Amanda: I can? I guess it's not something I really think about. Most of my family is musical in some way..... I just kinda used to sing along to Alex or dad when they were practicing....wrote a couple songs with Alex.

Micah: Well you have quite a voice, hon...though I guess I should have known that, concidering how well you....ahem. Anyhow.... How's the unpacking going?

Amanda walks in and reclines on the couch next to Micah.

Amanda: All done.

Micah: Beautiful...and efficent too. Amazing.

He smiles at her...then notices the pile of mail on his table left by the cleaning crew. He sighs and reaches over the gituar...

Micah: Bill, bill, bill....letter from mom, bill, bill...oh...this is from my old school. "Dear Micah, I'd like to congradulate you on your promotion to 6th degree black belt. Here is your new monogramed black belt...and your master's licence. Your expert forms that you should start working on are Divine Dragon, Eight Drunken Gods and Amaterasu. Congrats again...and come back out to Toronto so we can offically install you as a Master."

Amanda: Master? That's kinda...... hot.

She smiles and kisses him.

Congratulations baby.

Micah puts down the gituar and looks at the licence. His name monogramed in silver fillagree on a beautiful diploma with the words "6th degree Black Belt" and "Master Teacher" on it. He can't help but smile and hears Amanda give her congrats...

Micah: Thanks, hon. I never thought I'd get here. I bet Jenny and Gabby got this notice at thier home too...probably why she wrote me. I guess I'm going to have to go home eventually...besides...I'd want to properly introduce you to my mom anyway.

Amanda: That'll be fun.... I haven't seen Aunt Jenny since I was little.

Micah shakes his head...

Micah: I forgot that you knew my mom. Man...you Edwards seem to know everybody...

Amanda giggles.

Amanda: Yeah my mum and your mum have been tight since they were teenagers.... apparently Jenny was always kinda frustrated that my dad was the one guy who never drooled over her.

Micah: Yeah, that sounds like my mom. Even if she likes girls...she loves guys drooling over her. I think that's where Carmella gets it from...

...Hope she got home alright.

Micah looks into Amanda's eyes with a smile...

Micah: You look tired, hon. Shall we...head to bed?

Amanda nods happily.

Amanda: Thought you'd never ask.

The next morning, Micah wakes up early, about 4 A.M. as he always does and goes out for his usual morning two hour practice. He warms up as per usual, with a Bagua walk, going through about one hundred switches during his hour long walk. Then he starts to go over his first master form, Divine Dragon. Within the first twenty five minutes, after reading the notes on it, he is totally winded and covered in sweat. He continues on with his training, but he is incredibly tired as his two hours are up....

Micah: Oh Christ....that's a killer...

As he finishes Amanda is standing behind him, holding a bottle of water and a towel.

Amanda: Tough practice? Or is that my fault for wearing you out?

Micah gladly accepts both the water and the towel with a smile. He give Amanda with a quick kiss...

Micah: A litte bit of A...a lot of B. But...this new form is beastly. Six sections, all based on fighting the other animal forms...I'm exausted, hon.

Amanda: Well then it's a good thing you don't have anything else to do today..... no drama..... no emergencies..... just lounging around doing sweet fuck all with your fiancee..... now go get showered and I'll get breakfast.

Micah: You're a sweetheart, Amanda.

He walks towards the bathroom...then looks over his shoulder...

Micah: ...you sure you don't want to join me?

Amanda smirks.

Amanda: Nuh-uh.... for now I'm cutting you off for your own physical well being..... now go shower you smell like sex and Kung-Fu.

She giggles.

Micah can't help but laugh...loudly...

Micah: God, that actually sounds so hot when you say it. Alright. I'll be out in like fifteen minutes.

Micah gets out of the shower after about fifteen minutes and throws on some gray sweatpants. No socks and no shirt. His hair is still damp and he didn't realize that his hair had grown out a bit. He walks behind Amanda who is still cooking, wraps his arms around her waist and kisses the back of her neck...

Micah: That smells wonderful...

Amanda giggles.

Amanda: Are you talking about me or the food?
