Micah takes a taste of the eggs....then slips his hand down the front of Amanda's pants...and takes a...taste...

Micah: Hmm...as good as the cooking is....

Amanda lets out a soft moan, biting her lip. Then smacks the back of Micah's hand with a spatula.

Amanda: No..... bad Micah..... you're exhausted.... I'm taking it easy on you today.....

She hands him a plate of food.

Micah playfully pouts and quickly toasts two pieces of bread. He sits at his table and eats...but doesn't take his eyes off Amanda...

Micah: Hmm...so...whatever shall we do today? I mean...I'll have all this...energy...when I'm done eating...

Amanda smirks.

Amanda: You're a smart guy....surely you can think of something to do that doesn't invole penetrating one of my orifices....

Micah smirks...

Micah: There are plenty of ways to get you off without penetration. Great idea honey.

Amanda playfully sighs.

Amanda: You know if you have no intention of co-operating I may as well just fuck you til your ears bleed....

She drag's Micah by the collar into the bedroom and slams the door.

Hours later, Micah comes out of the bedroom...a couple drops of blood falling from his ears...

Micah: ...Should have known she'd actually fuckin' do it...

Amanda follows close behind, looking smug.

Amanda: Now.... are you going to be a good boy and rest like I said you should?

Micah: What's that honey? I can't seem to hear you...cause you know...I'm bleeding from the ear...

...but...if I was to hear you and answer your question....naw...I'm good.

Amanda shakes her head remorsefully.

Amanda: I'm gonna be a widow before we're married at this rate.

Micah: Wow...downplaying my toughness AND my stamina...That's amazing talk from the future Mrs. St. Clair...

Amanda suddenly looks a little uncomfortable.

Amanda: Micah..... I've been meaning to talk to you about that......

how would you feel about me..... keeping my name......?

Micah thinks about it a bit while taking a swig of a bottled water...

Micah: You...want to keep your name? I know your family is important, hon...but....can I ask why?

Amanda: I'm not sure if this'll make any sense..... but family is something we all take very seriously...... the idea of unconditional love and unity.... I didn't have one brother I had three..... and now a sister..... it's like we're all linked..... like we share one heart..... being an Edwards isn't just a name.... it's part of who I am.

Micah looks at her intently...

Micah: Then....what am I?

Amanda: You will be family too.....

Micah: I'm sensing an 'if' at the end of that statement....is this where you tell me about this...initiation?

Amanda: I can't tell you about the initiation sweetie.... I can only say that there is one.

Micah finishes the water...

Micah: I see. Look...tell me this. How would it be any different....this connection with your family...if you took my name? I mean...I'm marrying you, Mandy...not your family.

Amanda: I can't give you a good answer to that.... I don't have one. My family would love me just the same..... I just don't know if I'd still feel like me.....

..... but if it really bothers you Micah......then I'll change.

Micah exhales...

Micah: No....no, hon. It's alright. I understand. Really I do. You'll still be my wife anyway...so...what does it matter, right?

He walks over and gives her a kiss...

Micah: How about some lunch?

Amanda puts her arms around Micah's neck.

Amanda: Lunch would be nice..... I love you sweetie.

Micah's arms wrap around Amanda's waist. He kisses her again...

Micah: I love you too. I have one more question...I know you can't tell me about the initiation...but...tell me this...
