Alex and Alexis's Wedding....

Paddy:"Come now, hate is such a harsh word..."

Mercy: So is cunt..... bet that wouldn't stop you taking a peek at it if you were given the opportunity.

Paddy:"...Only a peak?...Damn tease."

Mercy: Aww.... don't sulk.... you're doing good so far.... keep this up you may get boob within the week.

Paddy:"You and your wily means of motivation..."
he smirks
"Out of curiosity, where are from? I mean like..where are you living these days? Or are you the "travel in a van non-stop with your band" musician types?"

Alexis is suitably impressed.

Alexis: I can't think of what it could be... sounds amazing though.

Jessica muses thoughtfully.

Jessica: In the best of situations there are times people... and types of people that... simply cannot get along. And from what little I know of the vast history of our parents' generation, not much of it has been the best of situations.

Cynthia glances down at Frank's pants.

Cynthia: They seem dry enough.

Mercy: Born in Portland, Relocated to Chicago when I was 21 because Oregon is.... well..... Oregon. I got a loft here now. I mean.... me and the guys do tour a lot.... but I'd go insane If I didn't have a place to come home to. How about you.... you don't exactly seem local.

Ewan smiles.

Ewan: I'm sure you'll love it.... so..... how does it feel to be somebody's wife?

Alexis giggles.

Alexis: It hasn't fully sunken in yet. Alex has taken to calling me Mrs. Edwards so I can get used to it.

Colin:"Yeah well...it all seems to spill and carry over to us. Believe me...I've gotten into it enough to know..."

Frank:"Umm yeah...dry...I'm just missing some support it seems...And I may have left some evidence on the ship..."

Paddy:"Been to Portland a few times. It's nice but...I get the feeling it didn't exactly fit with you...Well, I was born in Dublin. Spent time in Canada and the States. Living and working in London at the time but, like I said earlier, looking for a change."

Ewan: Hahaha..... better get used to that..... I think I exlusively called her Mrs.Edwards for the first 6 months of our marriage.... I still call her that from time to time.... although it may not last as long in your case.

He looks at the inscription on her wedding ring.

You already have..... names you call each other.

Oh that reminds me Mrs. Edwards..... you need to let me know what achievements you want recorded on the wall....

Mercy nods.

Mercy: Heh.... well you're welcome to ride with me and the boys for a while....until you decide where you want to settle..... the guys are always getting into trouble..... we could use a medic, hahaha.

Paddy:"Really? Wow I'd...I'd like that. Its just...I haven't exactly let them know my intentions at the hospital and all that...I suppose I could do that sooner then later..."

Jessica: Gotten in to it? With who?

Cynthia's eyes widen, and she starts giggling.

Cynthia: Oh, dear....

Alexis glances down at her ring and smiles.

Alexis: Nothing as cutesy as everyone might imagine.

She looks thoughtful.

Alexis: Hmm... I wasn't in wrestling long enough to have any sort of impact at the Edwards usual sport. Let's see, second degree black belt in kung fu and tae kwon do... 1st place in weapons at the American Karate Association National Championship... and 1st in forms and sparring in the Canadian Tae Kwon Do National Championship... so I guess that would make me a martial arts champion in two countries.... After the Legacy school kicks off... Master Instructor....

Mercy smiles.

Mercy: Hey not trying to rush you into anything. We don't head off on tour for a while.....and the offer isn't going away..... think it over.

Ewan: Hey like I said.... it doesn't need to be wrestling.... or even a sport.... Jayden's Rhodes Scholar's certificate is up there..... as is Jilly's doctorate..... it's about excellence..... and it would seem you are most excellent.... don't worry you'll fit right in in the Hall of Champions.

....wait..... Legacy school?

Alexis: Oh, right... I guess Alex wouldn't have had the chance to tell you. Since both Micah and I are both trained to be instructors there was this idea we were throwing around of opening a martial arts school with two branches, one here and one in Seattle... and have it be under the banner of the Icebox.

She looks shyly proud.

Alexis: I had the idea of calling it Legacy Martial Arts....

Ewan smiles.

Ewan: That's a wonderful idea Lexi..... Hmmmn there's an old warehouse that I own behind the Icebox that could be quite easily converted into a dojo for the branch here..... hmmmmn..... and we'll make LMA the official dojo of Team CBCA..... that should get you a little publicity to start you off.

Alexis stares at Ewan, shocked.

Alexis: You're going to base Gabe's MMA team there?

Ewan laughs.

Ewan: If that's OK with you.... it's your dojo sweetie.

Alexis: Oh it's fine... absolutely fine... and when Gabe's out west he'd go to Micah's dojo... scary how well this works....

Ewan: Good then it's settled.... I'll have my team draw up some design ideas for you to look over when you get back.

Alexis: Al... alright....

She giggles breathlessly, overwhelmed.

Ewan looks a little concerned.

Ewan: A-Are you OK Lexi?

Alexis giggles again.

Alexis: I'm fine... I guess this is an example of Edwards "spoiling".

Colin:"Well usually its...stating a view point but...apparently its not taken that way. I was never that great at conveying myself well in that situation, apparently...And most if not all those people are in this room so....yeah...."

Frank:"Heh yeah...figure I'd forget something..."

Paddy:"Oh I'm very interested. Strangely I wanted to be a roadie when I was like sixteen.."

Jessica: I've noticed the vast majority of people only hear what they want to.

Cynthia: At least it's back on the ship. No one else was back there, so after the festivities we can just go back there and get them.

Meanwhile, on the ship, Nikki is still poking the underwear when she suddenly gets a wicked grin.

Nikki: What would happen if we pants Frank?

Ewan: I prefer to think of it as helping to give you a means to be financially secure doing something you love.... I do that for all my kids.

Mercy: Well if you're a good boy I may let you carry my guitar case and give you a tour tee.
