Alexander and Alexis' Apartment Part 1

And speaking of which.... )

There is the sound of a key rattling in the front door and Alexis enters the apartment.

Alexis walks in, puts her bag on a nearby chair, noticing Alex asleep. After a moment of just watching him she goes over to the couch, and pokes him.

Alexis: Don't you have a bed for that?

Alex wakes suddenly and grabs Alexis' hand as she pokes.

"It's a little early to go to bed don't you think? Well.... alone anyway.... a man who has company can go to bed any time he damn well pleases."

Alexis blushes slightly at the contact.

Alexis: Are you expecting someone?

Alex sits up and pulls Alexis down onto the couch next to him.

"Expecting? Well I was expecting you to be coming home..... but I'm sure that's not the sort of expecting you were referring to..... so no."

Alexis looks at Alex a little oddly.

Alexis: Ah, alright. I guess it sounded like you were... nevermind...

She flushes deeper.

Alexis: I misunderstood, forget it.

Jeeze Alexis, get your mind out of the gutter.

He looks around to try and catch her eyes.

"Oh? What did it sound like?"

Alexis face is almost beet red now.

Alexis: Like... like... you were planning on going to bed with someone....

Alex leans towards Alexis eagerly.

"Oh. Well..... you have someone in mind? You and I are the only ones here."

Alexis' eyes grow wide and she pulls her hand away.

Alexis: No!

She leans back into the couch.

Alexis: You're the one that brought it up anyway.

Colin stands in the doorway, arms folded as he rests lazily to the side. he shakes his head, clucking his tounge

"First off, closing the door is a good idea. Never know who might be listening in. Secondly, ew."

Alexis jumps off the couch.

Alexis: Knock, damn you!

Alexis: And you act loads like dad, just walking in like that!

Colin sits down on the couch
If I had acted like dad I'd be pissed drunk, and I'd try to kick Alex in the stomach. Just sayin.."

Alexis glares at her brother, then abruptly looks confused.

Alexis: Why would dad kick Alex in the stomach?

Colin starts to cough
"Wait! You never watched the old FWA tapes? The dvd special on him? None of that?"

Alexis shakes her head.

Alexis: You know dad didn't allow us to watch that stuff... and mom doesn't exactly have his stuff around.

"You know I was all about following dads rules...
Let me put it this way, it would be the second time dads kicked Alex...practically. I won't say more then that for now."

Alexis looks back and forth between the two men, confused.

Alexis: I didn't think dad even knew Alex.

sighs
"I'll tell you when your older. But uh...never ask an Edward's about it. Especially Ewan."

Alexis: I wouldn't want to ask him anything. He quite clearly doesn't like me.

She suddenly realizes what all Colin said.

Alexis: What do you mean "when I'm older"? I'm an adult now!

"I'm yankin your chain, sheesh. And uh...the his distaste for you and what dad did, they are kinda connected. "
