Alexander and Alexis' Apartment Part 1

Alexis is really looking annoyed.

Alexis: Well then, what is it? What happened?

"You know what...ask mom."

Alexis walks right up to Colin with her arms crossed.

Alexis: Why don't you tell me?

Alexis: Do you ever ask before using anything in someone else's place?

She walks over to the computer, and watches. She becomes more visibly upset the further the video goes. When it ends she looks shaken.

Alexis: As if I didn't have enough reason to be ashamed to have him as my father....

Colin walks past her, heading towards the balcony with an unlit cigarette already in his mouth.
He half-yells
"And you wondered why I didn't want to explain it to you.."
he goes out onto the balcony, looking out

Alexis helplessly shrugs at Alex.

Alexis: At least he's not smoking in here....

She joins her brother on the balcony.

Alexis: Why are you here anyway?

keeping his gaze on the horizon
"Just stopping by. Making sure everything was alright."

Alexis glances at her brother.

Alexis: What are you worried about?

"I have to be worried to check on my sister?"

Alexis eyes him knowingly.

Alexis: Yes.

Disheartened by Alexis' reaction Alex exhales sharply, pinching the bridge of his nose. He gets a bottle of Vanilla Coke out of the refridgerator, plus two more. He heads out onto the balcony handing one to Alexis and casually throwing the other to Colin. Alex sees the suspicious look on Alexis' face.

"You OK? What's wrong?"

Alexis cracks open takes a sip of her coke.

Alexis: Why didn't anyone ever tell me?

Alex laughs dryly.

"Well.... didn't really feel it was necessary to tell you stories about how your Dad nearly killed me. It's not like you played a part in it. Besides you have plenty of reasons to hate your Dad."

Alexis: Not just you.

She glances at Colin, then back at Alex.

Alexis: Although it would have been nice to know why your parents hate me. I'm guessing that's it. They can't get to dad so they hate me. Do they hate Colin too?

Alex places his hand on Alexis' shoulder and looks at her apologetically.

"I'm sorry. And that's why my Dad hates you..... Colin too. My mum is a much more.... forgiving soul. She dislikes you fot..... a different reason."

She eyes him.

Alexis: What else did dad do? Or was it mom this time?

Alex smiles at her. Half sighing.

No, no. It's nothing they did. Your mother is one of her dearest friends. She's just..... overprotective..... of me."

Alexis chuckles.

Alexis: But what does that have to do with me?

Alex looks Alexis square in the eyes.

"No mother likes the idea of her baby boy having...... another woman in his life."

Alexis returns the gaze, confused.

Alexis: I just live here... does she not like that?

"No...... it's not that at all.... she... seems to think you.... hold me in high regard."

Alexis laughs, subtly elbowing Colin to try and give him the message to keep his mouth shut.

Alexis: I do. You're good at what you do. I mean, look at you, you hit the top right away in GCW and stayed there.

Alex sees Alexis elbow Colin.

Wait? What? Does Colin know? Did he tell her? Or did she figure out and tell him? I'm missing something here.

"Um.... I was talking about a more.... personal regard."
