Moira: I never said you weren't... I jus' could never picture you lookin' all messy.

Jessica smiles.

Jessica: Had he been too much of a fighter I would not have been interested. I don't go for dumb jocks.

Alexis grins.

Alexis: Everyone has surprises for me today.

Amanda looks at Jessica seriously.

Amanda: Being a warrior is not the same as being a fighter or being a dumb jock..... but I'm sure sooner or later you'll experience that for yourself.

Jessica: I know... that's why I used the word "fighter" instead of "warrior". But, seeing a warrior "out of context" so to speak might appear to be indistinguishable from a mere fighter.

Amanda shrugs.

Amanda: That's true.... a lot of people fail to make that distinction when they look at us..... it's nice that you've taken uch an interest in our family's history and way of life though....

Jessica smiles shyly.

Jessica: I've always been interested in Medieval romanticism I guess... knights in shining armor and all that.

Jillian: You two are perfect for each other....he loves that era as well.

Amanda laughs.

Amanda: Yeah.... the men in this family are certainly into romanticism....

Jessica nods.

Jessica: We... have the same taste in... literature.

Nikki smirks.

Nikki: Gabe ain't into all that overly sweet shit.

Jillian looks over at Nikki with a wink...

Jillian: Sure about that?

Nikki smirks.

Nikki: Yeah... I see how sickeningly sweet everyone is, and all the stories and shit. Gabe's not like that.

Jessica: You're just jealous.

Nikki looks indignant.

Nikki: I am not!

Amanda: Sorry Nikki.... Gabe is as diabetes inducingly sweet as the rest of us.... he's just better at hiding it....

.... think about it.... he's at a bachelor party..... but his phone was on.... and I bet it didn't ring more than three times before he picked up for you....

Nikki: He did pick up pretty quickly.

She tries to hide the little smile that comes with the realization.

Amanda: Awwww..... she likes it.... how..... SWEET

Nikki tries harder to hide the smile.

Nikki: I don't know what you're talking about.

Amber comes running over to the girls...

Amber: Um...you girls might want to come quick...Jenny managed to get the Old Ladies Auxillary at the table behind us to smoke some of her....well...just look...

They look to see about 13 old women smokin' weed in public...

Alexis is right behind Amber.

Alexis: We tried to talk her out of it... but she wanted to "liven things up a bit".

Moira glances at the clock.

Moira: Nowhere near the record... Jenny was actually tame this time.

Raquel smiles at Jenny
Raquel:"Oh believe me, you'll be getting your fair share of phone calls. Both you and Gabby. By the way, how is the Caramel Goddess anyways?"

She looks over at the elderly women smoking weed
Raquel:"Why do I get the feeling I'm looking into the future?"

Jenny: Gabby? Oh she's great. Happy that Carmella is home...but...'Mella seems very upset for some reason....anyone know why?

Old lady one: COME ON GERTRUDE! PASS THAT BLUNT!

Alexis glances at Amanda.

Alexis: Did Carmella not want to come to this...?

Jenny: I asked her to come...Gabby too...but Gabby still has duties with the...ahem...federation. It's odd, though. When she came home, she basically locked herself in Micah's old room. When I tried to ask her what was wrong...all she would do is cry...and say, "She stole him from me".

She smirks at Amanda...

Jenny: I can only assume...? And...I'm sure you knew as well, Lexi?

Alexis: I know Carmella's a bit possessive of Micah... she was when I was dating him too. I guess she's not taking well how close Amanda and Micah are... but it's not my place to say too much about it.

Jenny: Possessive...yeah, that's a good word for it. She feels that...well, because Micah isn't like other guys....that...well, I think she wants him all to herself.

Alexis: It did seem like they had a very... unusual... relationship. Kind of siblings with benefits.

Jenny: Oh...well, yes. You know that Gabs and I aren't shy about our...proclivities...but when it comes to our children...we didn't want them to just...fling it all around the first couple of times. So when Carmella showed some intrest in Micah...we didn't discourage it. Micah is such a kind and caring boy...who better to help a girl her first time...

Alexis glances at Amanda again.

Alexis: I guess she wanted it to be more permanent, but Micah didn't feel the same way....
