Nikki: Ah. Now that's one experience I ain't had yet.

She shifts on her crutches.

Nikki: I'd best get back before someone thinks I'm trying to off myself again. Nice to meet you.

She gestures a crutch at Alexis.

Nikki: And you are a lucky one. We have to talk later.

She hobbles back the way she'd been going.

Alexis: Well that was interesting.

Inside the room, Gabe has sat with his mom for quite a while. The situation is just...a lot for Gabriel to deal with. As he continues to talk with her, his phone goes off. It's Tito...again....

Gabe: Sorry mom....I gotta take this. I'll come see you as soon as I'm done with this fight....win or lose. I promise...

He hugs her tightly, and answers his phone on the way out of the room...

Nikki's phone goes off and she glances at it, shifting her balance on her crutches to read the text without stopping.

Gabe walks down the hallway of the ward, trying to set up his departure time from the airport when all of a sudden...

*BOOM* He falls down...and so does a young woman on crutches...

Gabe: Oh, Christ.....hey...hey, you alright?

Nikki: There are better ways to say hi, you know.

He puts her arm around his shoulder...and then realizes she's very light...

Gabe: Here...let me do this. A lot easier...

He just picks her up...very easily...

Gabe: Since we are in this...intresting story...I guess I should know your name...

He starts to lead her out.... spotting Gabe and Nikki on the way out.

Alex: Um.... Gabe.... I think you're taking the whole "Picking up women" thing a little literally.
