Erin still in the pillow.

Erin: Wow.... The teachers at Med School are really earning their paychecks.

Paddy:"Sarcasm noted...

Paddy sighs, this voice in the back of his mind screaming "GO! GET THE HELL OUT NOW!"

Paddy:"Whats the matter Erin? I'm not speaking as hospital staff but as somebody actually concerned."

Paddy turns and heads towards the door

Nikki: Yeah it is. And there's not too much to tell, just a game of truth or dare that got a little out of hand

Alexis' stomach growls.

Alexis: Um... yes?

Alex smiles at lexi's timely growl.

Alex: Well then that's the first thing we have to remedy.

He puts his arm around her and leads her out of the Hosptal. Alex drives to Waterloo, where the two take a leisurely stroll along the South Bank of the River, en route to the Mezzanine Restaurant at the National Theatre.

Alexis leans into Alex as they walk, looking up at him and smiling.

Alexis: How did I get so lucky?

Alex laughs.

Alex: And here's me about to ask the exact same thing.

He kisses her.

Alexis returns the kiss.

Alexis: Why is it, no matter how skewed everything gets, you can always get me to smile?

Alex: Seeing you smile is the reason I get out of bed in the morning my love..... sometimes it's also the reason I can't get out of bed.

Alexis giggles.

Alexis: Oh come on, my smiling can't do all that.

Alex grins.

Alex: Well it's not just the smiling.... it's also that little giggle you make when you're being humble.

He gives her a quick kiss.

....and the way you pout when you pretend to be mad

..... the way you sigh when you snuggle into me when you're sleepy

.... and the way you wriggle when you have a dirty thought about me.

Alexis giggles again, enjoying the attention.

Alexis: I do not do all that... do I?

Alex smiles staring at Alexis, almost in awe.

Alex: You most certainly do..... I can't help but notice.

Alexis: Ever since we started dating... well, at least being together... you've always looked at me like you are now, like you're afraid I'm going to disappear on you or something.

She reaches up and strokes his cheek.

Alexis: I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

Alex: Some of the sweetest words I've ever heard.

He kisses her yet again.

...shall we?

He escorts her into the restaurant.

Alexis takes Alex's hand.

Alexis: I only speak the truth.

Alex: I know my love.... I don't look at you through fear..... It's more... amazement that you're real.... that you're with me.

Alexis' smile shines through her eyes.

Alexis: As I said, where else could I possibly go...

She walks ahead of Alex into the restaurant, still holding his hand. She looks back at him, still smiling

Alexis: Alright tour guide, lead the way.

Alex leads her to a table set against the large glass wall of the Mezzanine Restaurant on the first floor of the National Theatre, providing a clear view across the Thames. He pulls out her chair for her.

Alex: Not quite as formal as the place we went with Ben and your mother.... but still a nice location for our second date I think.

Alexis looks out over the Thames as she sits, and smiles.

Alexis: Always around water... for some reason I like that.

Alex chuckles.

Alex: I hadn't even thought about the recurring theme..... I guess I'm a little predictable.

Alexis giggles.

Alexis: It's something that's us though, you know. So whenever we see a lake, or a river... or a puddle....

She giggles again.

Alexis: It's like our own little secret.
